Where have I been???

“Paul, where have you been and what is up with Roses on the Windshield?”

A lot of people have been asking me this question. Locally, people know I’m still around but I had to pull back from a lot of work on Roses until I got some things settled in my life. I run my own Professional SEO services business and there have been times when I was pretty buried with client work and also finding new clients!

Leah - I still miss her

In addition to that 2010 was quite an eventful year. Both of our daughters graduated from college, one of them moved away to Iowa (she also got engaged – we’re real excited about that). Both of Brenda’s parents passed away (they were in their 90′s and it was their time) during the summer.

Then, in early October Leah, our dog and my best friend for thirteen and a half years also passed on. I was pretty devastated for quite some time.

At the beginning of November, we got a new puppy, who we named Emma. She’s a Catahoula-Lab mix that we rescued from a shelter in Kentucky.

Here it is – February 10, 2011 and I’ve been thinking a lot about Roses on the Windshield. I’ve received a couple beautiful stories and really want to get the first edition out soon. I’ve got some exciting things planned to get new stories from our fellow Rose lovers. Keep coming back to the blog because this is where I’ll be announcing all updates.

Until the next time,

Wishing you love and Roses on Your Windshield,

Paul
