When I first created Roses on the Windshield, I intended to publish a book containing
dozens of “Roses,” which are stories about things that people in love do or have done
with those who they love.  However, my readers changed that a bit as I began to get
deeply touching stories of love that were well beyond stories about showing affection or love.

Before we get into the details, let me ask you to imagine walking into a bookstore and
picking up a book off the “New Release and Best Seller” table. The title is
Roses on the Windshield. You open up to the table of contents and see your name as
the author of one of the chapters. Can you imagine the feelings of pride and excitement you’ll feel?

What I just described to you is very familiar to me as I have lived that scene many
times in my mind and dreams. Not only that, but also the dream of walking across Oprah’s
stage to present her, and her entire audience with a beautiful pink rose and a copy of the
book. Now is the perfect time to make the dream a reality. Together, we are going to
create a best seller.

We’re going to leverage the power of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook,
multi-media internet channels like YouTube and the relationships we all have in our
lives to spread the message and stories of roses.

You Won’t be Alone in your Writing!

You might be thinking, “Paul, I have a story but I’m not really a writer.”

No problem. We’ll be selecting rose stories for their content, their impact and the intent of your message. The final stories will be professionally edited for publication.

You might be thinking, “Paul, don’t have a story.”

That’s okay. I think we all have a story. Try digging a bit deeper or just think a bit more. Of course, we are looking for true stories so you’ll want to dig into your actual past. The story may not be directly about you. It may be from a family member or friend. Something that moves you each time you think about it.

Roses on the Windshield is about sharing your roses, your special story. You are
sharing a part of your heart and soul. It will be a thrill for me to honor and thank
you for your contribution. Each contributing author may add a “sig file” or paragraph
about their business as well as their site URL.

We’re now accepting applications for submissions of stories to include in the first

What is the Deadline?

There is no deadline for submissions but once we have enough great stories to
fill the first edition, we’ll quickly move on to the editing and publishing phase.
This will be a very rapid process. We know that we will receive many inspiring
