A Rose is Poetry for the Eyes
Poetry is the voice of the soul. For most of my life, I was one of the people who used to say “I don’t get poetry.”
Over the past year, there have been major changes in my life spiritually, emotionally and psychologically that have allowed many of my “repressed” emotions to surface. I think it had a lot to do with understanding “authenticity,” with the help of Brenda, my sister Leslie Hershberger, and God.
One of the unexpected gifts of this metamorphosis has been an understanding and appreciation of poetry and I can see why it is often called a language of love and of the heart.

True love will be together no matter the odds and the obstacles because it is pre-destined. Nothing or no one can get in between this, because when God says YES its yes, does not matter how many others say no…it shall be. When the time is right it shall penetrate both hearts at exactly the right and same time.I completely concur using the above comment, the internet is having a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to websites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.

The Brightest Star
Physically, spiritually and emotionally strong,
You and I are right where we belong,
A passion far beyond the laws of gravity,
One untouchable to man; a deep inner intensity.
The ability of two souls to soar and mould creating one,
The need to spread our wings when in essence we need none,
The beauty of two immaculate souls; joy and peace hovering,
The love they once shared, re-opened and rediscovering.
A beginning and an end, you and I a true Godsend,
Not only shining as one, but two, as the two become one,
So much hope to share with the world, a great deal of work to be done,
The brightest star in the galaxy made of two,
The one and only star designed and made of me and you.
My heart and soul spill-eth over, luckier than a four leaf clover,
To feel your constant and undying love,
To recognize and appreciate a most precious gift,
One that could only be sent by heaven above.
To know that God has chosen me to be your angel,
Putting your precious heart into my hands,
For me to care for and treasure, the kindest of all lands,
Only to be given back more that I could ever have dreamed of,
A love so golden, one purer than the symbolism of a white dove.
That ocean pearl deeply buried on the ocean floor,
Waiting for what seemed an eternity, for the one she could truly adore,
A beauty that could only be uncovered by you,
You are the man I love and have always loved,
You sincerely are my dream come true.

A Love Like Ours
How you inspire me,
Make my dreams come true,
My entire eternity has been spent,
In search of, and only loving you.
I adore you beyond words to speak,
A love like ours can only be felt by the meek,
It’s a love that never dies but lives on and on,
Penetrating our two hearts leading us to where we belong.
Your love is stronger than a mother’s love,
Deeper than the deepest sea,
I thank the heavens every day,
That this love has been given to me.
How long I spent waiting and hoping,
Just existing, most times merely coping,
My heart and soul rejoice that your love is finally here,
I look forward to sharing my life with you year after year.
You bring out that little girl inside of me,
And fill her with so much love,
She feels so at peace and free to be,
With the one and only man she has ever deeply loved.
Nothing can break a love like ours,

Infinite Love
There had been much suffering from the pain
Pains from hatred, losses and from thirsts
We still wish to live keeping our hopes alive
Where the wounds would have made us bleed
We can still find joy and peace inside of us
Ever wondered what could make us smile all along?
When instead of we should have or could have cried?
To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven and eternity
We have come together on this earth again and again
With love for one another to heal each others pain
To always faithfully and joyously stand by each other
To wipe away the tears and give a hug and a smile
We have come here time and time again
Being born out of the love for each other
To heal each other with the power of love
To reach out to the others hand and touch the soul
Have adored one another in pain and suffering
When there was darkness we have been the light
Where the road was long we walked hand in hand
On our way we have seen the seasons together
Have let the storms and the rainbows fill our souls
Cherishing the colors of spring and fall together
Life gave us joy, we embraced and celebrated together
Life’s wounds and pains we shared and healed together
This happened time and time again through many lives
Born together from and in love over and over again
We have loved each other and will continue to do so
Among the pain we have built a glorious heaven
We have built a heaven together where we have seen God
In each others love and beauty through the love
In our hearts that we have over time woven together.

Once In A Lifetime
Once in a lifetime true love comes
It’s a precious gift given to the two
It stands the longest test of time
Even when words don’t rhyme
The hearts of two cannot deny
What the great divine has created
A love so deep never separated
Torn at heart but never really apart
Souls connected for all an eternity
For a love that was created and meant to be
A love that returns again and once more
Specifically for the two of them to adore
For from the beginning as warm as the sun
The energies alive knowing there is one
Their journey is never over, never done
Destiny states they will always be one
Over and over they divinely fall
It’s a true love that conquers all
Love your life don’t ever feel blue
This love will come when it is meant too.

Love looks through the eyes of God
Pride looks trough the eyes of a parent
Innocence looks through the eyes of a child
Wisdom looks through the eyes of the aged
Hope looks through the eyes of the faithful
Despair looks through the eyes of the suffering
Laughter looks through the eyes of the joyful
Tears look through the eyes of the grieving
Eyes speak more than words…
Eyes speak a language heard only by the heart
Eyes speak the truth
Eyes speak in a tongue understood by all humankind.
