While Roses on the Windshield started as a story about me and Brenda, the site is not about us. It’s about and for you and the millions of people around the world who have love in their hearts.
Roses and flowers are one of the things we do to let each other know our love. We are going to spread the message of love around the world. We’ll do it with stories that people like you pull from your hearts and put on a page. So if this is about you, how can you contribute? It’s actually pretty easy.

- Decide if you want your story to be a personal post on the site or if you would like to be considered as a contributing author of “Roses on the Windshield.” Authors can fill out the form below for more information. I’ll send you a pdf with all the information.
Some people hesitate to write because they think their story isn’t interesting, they’re not a good writer or they’re a bit shy. Don’t worry about those things at all. We’re not experts in grammar or writing. Brenda and I are normal people, probably like you in a lot of ways. I’m a small business marketing consultant and Brenda is a teacher at an early childhood center. We have daughters in college, a dog named Leah and a happy marriage filled with joys and challenges.
All you need to do is write about something in your life that brings you the feeling of love. Something you have done for someone else, an event in your life, something special you do to celebrate or show love to people in your life. How do these stories relate to the spirit of Roses on the Windshield? The stories may be about spouses, lovers, friends or relatives.
While I’m not a stickler for details or rules, there are a couple of guidelines. This is a G-rated site. No sexually explicit or overtly suggestive stories will be published so it would be a waste of time to send it in. Your Rose must be original material and not violate any copyrights. Also, no profanity please. Your Rose may be funny, happy, sad, silly or whatever other emotion you care to share with us.
